FlyBase Reference Manual E. Portable FlyBase Server

FlyBase has discontinued support for the portable FlyBase server. All FlyBase data is available for download in flat file format. When we have completed integration of our databases, all FlyBase data will be available in XML format or as a complete Postgres chado database dump. FlyBase data in flat file format is currently available in the following files:

• Sequence and annotation data
• Genes data acode; recently updated genes data acode (updates nightly)
• Genes expression data acode
• Transgene insertions data acode : insertions, transgene constructs, plasmids, molecular segments
• Aberrations data acode; recently updated aberrations data acode (updates nightly)
• References data acode
